Rockin’1000 , the biggest rock band in the world, the Italian musical project which made its way around the world

thanks to the viral video which successfully invited the Foo Fighters to Cesena (today having over 49 million

views), has finally crossed the Italian border and has exported the That’s Live format – a real and proper 2

hour concert where 1,000 musicians simultaneously play a collection of iconic songs from rock history.

In a historic moment where it seems impossible to complete one’s projects, the young startup born in Romagna

is returning to Italy with pride following the results of its first two stops abroad in its tour set forth by important

numbers – almost 70,000 spectators between Paris and Frankfurt – and it’s announcing that 2020 will see the

arrival of the movie recounting the origins of the project, directed by Anita Rivaroli and produced by

Indyca . Soon, a new That’s Live concert date will be announced on Italian soil.

Opening up Rockin’1000’s first tour abroad was the first date in Paris at the Stade de France – where the last

Saturday in June (June 29, 2019), the Thousand’s concert had over 50,000 people in attendance between the

audience, musicians, and authorized personnel (49,561 spectators, 1,038 musicians, 3,500 authorized

personnel). The big event, led by master of ceremonies Philippe Manoeuvre – journalist and French rock

ambassador , received important recognition in terms of criticism and the audience. The musicians – guided by

young and energetic orchestra director Alex Deschamps – came mostly from France (745) and Italy (243) as

well as from Belgium , Germany , Poland , Holland , Switzerland , Austria , Canada , and San Marino .

The second stopover took place a week later in Germany (Sunday, July 7) – in the most important stadium in

Frankfurt, the Commerzbank Arena , with a musical catalogue which for the first time included all of the

instrumental sections : drums, basses, guitars, singers, as well as keyboards, violins, and woodwinds. Onstage,

Presenter Maschine Nitrox (Radio Bob speaker – Event Media Partner) introduced Wolf Kerschek,

internationally famous composer, orchestra director, and arranger . The musicians from the German edition

came mainly from Germany (587) and Italy (296), although the response from foreign participants has been

very high and saw musicians of all nationalities on the Commerzbank Arena field, specifically French, Austrian,

American, Swiss, Belgian, Hungarian, English, and Russian people.

The first official video from Paris, We will Rock You by Queen , is online, played in front of 50,000

spectators.
